We were admitted to the Pedia Floor for a scheduled Procedure. We appreciate the extra mile service of the 6th floor wing B nurses, especially nurse Kathleen Olaes. My daughter has her butterfly "tattoo" on her left hand when we were admitted, but unfortunately, it has to be removed as the IV will be placed on her left hand too. My daughter did not cry despite two IV insertions, but cried hard when her tattoo was removed. To pacify my daughter, Nurse Kathleen drew a big butterfly on a piece of paper and gave it to my daughter, she even drew a "tattoo" butterfly on my daughter's right hand, which until now my daughter doesn't want to erase. Nurses gave her a printed butterfly sticker, a dino band aid, and a pen, which made my daughter calm and happy. Thank you, Nurse Kathleen, for making our stay at Asian Hospital memorable for my daughter. We appreciate your one of a kind service - thank you!
