Sonia consistently shows the values and ethics that the DAISY Award is known for. She truly cares for members and staff and provides the absolute best care. She is constantly being recognized in rep.com reviews for her attention to detail and her communication with members during hard situations. She follows up with members to check that they are ok after seeing her and makes every effort to support them in any way she can during and after their visits with her.

She also is the first one to jump into a project and support new initiatives. She has done such amazing pilots as focused care for members and template pilots to support better NP support and better NP access. She supports internal projects as well as a union steward and UBT member, finding ways to make staff and providers have a better, safer time at work. She is a wonderful leader and support system for the primary care team.
