She stepped into the room with compassion, good humor, peace, and interest in speaking to my father. What an angel!
I was feeling down due to some situations in my life and body. Nurse Kim Sussewell began to talk with me and really seemed interested in my feelings and the situation that I was going through. Her phone was constantly ringing, so I knew she was busy. However, she continued to listen to me, held my hand, and prayed for me. She continued to check on me through the night and even gave me a bar of my favorite candy. She change my mood, now I feel so much better.

Ms. Kim is a very hardworking nurse. Her joyful and positive attitude makes the nights easier when she works. On Christmas night Kim volunteered to come in and help staff the floor after learning that our nurse manager had come in to work that night as well. She willingly gave up her holiday night to help with the needs of the floor. This is one example of many times that she has volunteered to work partial or full shifts so that he floor is supported. I truly appreciate all that she does!

We had a patient on our floor who was admitted for several days and was awaiting placement. She was homeless and had little to no clean clothes to wear once she left. When Kim learned that she would be discharged soon, she decided to bring in some clothing items to the patient so that she would have warm, clean clothes to wear when she left. The joy and excitement on the patient's face were reminders of how much a kind gesture can impact someone's life. The patient kept saying that Ms Kim was such a blessing to her and made her stay here so much better! Ms Kim is an extraordinary nurse who always sets the bar high! On this night, she exemplified what it means to Inspire Health, Serve with Compassion, and Be the Difference.

Ms Kim has the perfect job. Not only did she go out of her way to make me comfortable, she amazingly went out of her way to reassure me everything was going to be O.K. Ms Kim personally provided me with much needed clothing that I truly needed! She is awesome. Besides all of the things mentioned above, she gave me a much-needed hug, a smile, and a prayer that definitely topped off all that she did for me. Now, that's extraordinary care. Thank you, Prisma, for sharing her with me. Thank you.

My dad asked me to open the hospital room door to show him he was indeed in the hospital. When I did, there were two smiling faces, one being Kimberly, RN. She was not the RN assigned to my father- but wow! She stepped into the room with compassion, good humor, peace, and interest in speaking to my father. What an angel! An absolute ray of sunshine & delight! At the time, my dad was experiencing massive confusion, anxiety, restlessness, and agitation. I watched my dad calm down by her presence and magical bedside manner. She was happy and eager to help. She was able to converse perfectly, just the way my dad needed to at the time. It was beautiful to watch. We are so grateful and appreciate the VIP care and compassion given by Kimberly, RN.
