You were my angel, my guardian, my hope. You showed me that kindness and love still exist in this world. Your unwavering compassion and leadership as a Principal Nursing Officer left an indelible mark on my life and the lives of countless others. You are a testament to the transformative power of nursing care.
From her nomination, Principal Nursing Officer, Rachel Nyamekye Boye has been the beacon of hope for the hospital's most vulnerable patients. One fateful day, I was rushed into the facility with my life hanging by a thread after a devastating accident.
Rachel Nyamekye Boye immediately took over my care even as my conditioned worsened, Rachel Nyameke Boye went above and beyond, coordinating with the health team to ensure I received the best possible care. She held my hand through painful procedures, Comforted my terrified children and family, advocated for my needs with the medical team, coordinated with social services to support my family, and prayed with me during my darkest moments. Rachel Nyamekye Boye's selfless dedication inspired the entire hospital staff, and my family can credit my life and my miraculous recovery to Rachel's extraordinary care.
As a patient, when I prepared to leave the hospital, all I could say to Madam Rachel was, "You were my angel, my guardian, my hope. You showed me that kindness and love still exist in this world. Your unwavering compassion and leadership as a Principal Nursing Officer left an indelible mark on my life and the lives of countless others. You are a testament to the transformative power of nursing care."

I met her some years back as an in charge at the surgical ward. At that time of meeting her, the hospital had no IVF normal saline to irrigate patients who were undergoing prostatectomy, and it was quite expensive to get them at the pharmacy shops outside the hospital. Nurse Rachel took upon herself to distill water to help irrigate the patients, this was a remarkable act which caught my attention and I believe she deserves to be recognized which will motivate her to do more.
She was my nurse in charge of the surgical ward and she always has a way of resolving issues of ethical dilemmas of concern in the surgical ward for most nurses.
Her excellent communication and relationship skills make patients trust her very easily, and they adhere to treatments they have hitherto refused. On top of that, she has demonstrated a high level of resilience and leadership in both the practice and administrative work and has had a great impact on the delivery of nursing care in the facility. She introduced team nursing and has been of great help to the nurses in meeting the needs of patients. For these and many more, I believe she is a true DAISY Nurse Leader.

During a particularly challenging shift, a critically ill patient was admitted to the ICU. The patient's family was overwhelmed and anxious, and the medical team struggled to stabilize the patient. That's when Madam Rachel Nyamekye Boye stepped in. She quickly assessed the situation, took charge, and coordinated the care team's efforts. With her expertise and compassion, she stabilized the patient's vital signs, developed a personalized care plan, communicated effectively with the family, addressed their concerns and fears, and collaborated with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
Thanks to Rachel Nyamekye Boye's exceptional leadership, our patient began to recover, and we the family felt reassured, relaxed and grateful.

I can say she loves what she does! Her humility is so much appreciated! She works so hard and makes sure all services rendered yield good results.
She played a crucial role in providing compassionate care, advocating for my needs, and promoting my health and well-being.
Her impact can be seen in various ways, such as improving patient outcomes, educating communities on health issues, and supporting individuals during challenging times.
The way she interacts with her patients is superb, and when I began having some emotional problems, her support and treatment ensured my early recovery when everyone else thought I was about to lose my mind. Rachel was the charge nurse who ensured that I received exceptional care.
