Jessica Russe is truly an angel on earth! She made me feel so at ease from the moment she walked into the room, and I was so thankful she was the one that helped bring my baby into the world. She listened to every last detail I provided with my previous birth and ensured that info was passed along to the right staff accordingly. I made mention how an epidural historically made me really sick, so she came up with a plan with the anesthesiologist to gradually increase the intensity versus just going all in from the start. I wanted to be certain I had an epidural before the doctor broke my water, and she was my advocate to the doctor to ensure that happened. I was very anxious about getting an epidural due to a poor experience prior, and she went above and beyond to help calm my nerves and support me through every second of the process. While I was pushing, she was my biggest cheerleader, and made certain to put my post birth concerns at top of mind and followed through with everything she said she could and would do. I appreciated her honesty, knowledge, and support through one of the most vulnerable times as a woman. Every time I look at my son and think about him coming into this world, we will always be reminded of Jessica too. She will always have a special handprint on my heart! Thank you, Jessica, for being an incredible nurse! Delnor is so beyond blessed to have you! As we were walking out of the hospital with our son in hand, she came flying around the corner for the chance to say goodbye! It was such a full circle moment to be able to give her a hug and thank her for helping bring our son into the world.
