She was always there to comfort me when I was crying or scared.
Amanda Rader is a polite, attentive, supportive, and professional nurse. I am a September 11th NYC ground zero survivor with many illnesses related to the toxins. Most do not consider this aspect, but she did. When the orders didn’t make sense to the residents or if she noticed interactions as I was receiving IV Meds, she contacted the residents and worked out new plans of care for me. Her forethought and actions healed me both physically and mentally. She was always there to comfort me when I was crying or scared. She was gentle with me as I have significant PTSD, and the anniversary was close to my hospital admission date. She didn’t pry or belittle me as others have in the past. She went above and beyond to help bring me comfort in a very scary time and place. She is an amazing nurse, and you are so lucky to have her on staff.
