Stephen Wilson was always friendly and attentive. Two weeks into rehab, mom showed signs of decline. As her daughter, I was not ready to hear the word “hospice”. Stephen had the difficult task of bringing up hospice to us. He was so kind, patient, respectful, and caring. When we finally agreed that mom had been through enough and decided to call in hospice, Stephen was there to answer questions and give hugs. Stephen would stop in to check on Mom and also check on me to make sure I had whatever I needed as well. Only a few days later, Stephen was the one who found mom after she had passed. He met me at the door when I arrived at the facility and gave a big long hug. He was kind and respectful, giving us the time and privacy my family needed as we told my mom Goodbye one last time. He kept checking on us making sure we were ok and had what we needed. He took the time to help the funeral home transfer her to a stretcher and escorted us down to hall out to the van. As my family was leaving, Stephen stopped what he was doing and gave me one last hug. He was awesome. Thank you, Stephen, for all you do for your patients and their families.
