My doctors explained what was happening, but Catie simplified everything into layman's terms, making me feel more comfortable. There were days when I felt low and in a slump. Catie somehow sensed my feelings and took the time to talk with me; her soothing voice and words of encouragement lifted my spirits. It seemed like she was always in the right place at the right time for me. She supported not only my physical health but also my mental well-being. Catie made me feel safe and well cared for. She treated me not just as a patient but also as a friend. Always attentive to my nursing needs, she also communicated effectively with my spouse, explaining the daily procedures that would enhance my care. We were both particularly impressed by the professionalism with which Catie conducted herself. Catie is undoubtedly an asset to this healthcare organization. I can only hope that all nurses here exhibit the same dedication to duty, compassion, understanding of patients' needs, and professionalism in nursing. While I'm not looking forward to another hospitalization, if the need arises, I hope Catie will be my caretaker.
