I brought my elderly mother to the ER. Camryn was her nurse and was so patient with her, and kind to Mama and me. I had forgotten my phone charger, and I asked if the hospital still had the phone charging stations, and she said she would take my phone and take care of it for me. I was very grateful, because family members were checking on Mama as we were there for a good while. She would check on her and see if she needed anything, as well as if I needed anything. It was midnight when we were discharged, and I expressed my concern about going to the parking lot, and she told me the security guard would walk me to my car. I am truly grateful for the care and compassion shown to us by Camryn. You could tell that she has a true calling for nursing. You could hear her outside talking with others, and she had a calm, caring voice. I think she really deserves this award.
