We had an unexpected call-in and like superwoman this leader steps out of her office in scrubs and is ready to roll to not only run our unit but also in-house transport on top of taking on patients and assisting staff with whatever the needs are. 

This leader is so very loved by the staff on our unit. She is making waves in leadership, and this is evident in the patient satisfaction reviews that the unit receives. 

Our unit went from nothing to quite something with the direction of this leader. If we may say so, the best is yet to come because this new leader is building things. She is special and surrounded herself by staff that cares and will go above and beyond for her.
