Stacy Pico came to Baldwin Park last year as the Director of Ambulatory Practice and quickly had to transition to our Interim Director of Education as well all within 1-2 months. She comes with so much experience and knowledge that she is such an asset to our team. Stacy exemplifies the strong leader who possesses the skills, knowledge, decision-making, and transparency, and establishes a trusting environment. Our team was experiencing multiple inconsistent leadership for the past 2 years, and Stacy showed her leadership skills in recognizing what our department needed, how to move our department forward, and she quickly transitioned into the leadership roles for committees and projects. Within a short span, Stacy was able to implement processes, prepare other managers during the manager surge training, manage the contracted workers, and establish commitments to support LVN nursing students in the Adult Primary Care and Internal Medicine departments. Stacy is very open to ideas, recognizes staff for their hard work, and has a strong commitment to excellence.
