When Fara’s shift was over, she told him, as she held his hand, how it was an honor to be his nurse that day. It was beautiful and truly touching.
My Father-in-Law was admitted to the ICU in cardiac distress. When Nurse Fara started her shift, she had so much attention, compassion and care not only for my father-in-law but also for us, his six family members who were usually crowding around her. She was so gracious and tender with him during his final hours. Fara also took time to explain to us his needs during her shift, usually the same question by each of us throughout the day. We truly thought he might rally and recover a bit more when he started communicating with us on the whiteboard Fara provided for him to write some words down for us. I just loved how he had such a loving soul on his side. When Fara’s shift was over, she told him, as she held his hand, how it was an honor to be his nurse that day. It was beautiful and truly touching. I was so glad she was there with us the following morning after he passed. Fara is truly a dynamo who should be a trusted and valued employee. She has the patient’s best interest in mind and knows her stuff. We were confident he was in the right place.

Fara was a nurse for my dad in the ICU. She was an absolute angel on earth. She took such great care of him. She was efficient, patient, caring, and spoke to him in such a calm, loving way. She also took care of us - our family was in the ICU all the time. She would explain and soothe. She would also bring us water and make sure the snack cart was full. There were 6 of us in his room that was filled to the brim with wires and cables and machines and more machines, and add to that, six additional bodies that just didn’t have the wherewithal to know how or when to move, she gracefully danced around us never making us feel like we were in the way. At the end of her shift and also at the end of Dad’s life, she spoke calmly and clearly to Dad, telling him what an honor it was to be his nurse, and then she turned and said the same thing to us. She is amazing.
