Dina always goes above and beyond for her patients. She explains their therapy and treatment in detail but in language that they will understand. She provides comfort to families during an incredibly stressful time in their lives when dealing with a diagnosis that upends patients' and families' worlds. 

Dina has excellent IV skills and port accessing skills, and is a nurse who is requested frequently by those who have challenging veins. 

She has a smile on her face, and you can just see the compassion that she has. 

I watched Dina explain a chemotherapy plan to a patient and her mother. They were both anxious to the point of tears. Dina sat with them for over 30 minutes explaining what would happen and how we would manage her symptoms. She explained how we would access her port, and when she started accessing it, she walked them through it step by step. You could see the anxiety leaving this patient's eyes. She visibly relaxed during this interaction. She is a wonderful asset to the Infusion Center, and our patients are lucky to have her.
