Jen is truly the best nurse we have ever had. We can tell that she genuinely cares about both of us and our family. My husband has Parkinson’s Disease and is currently involved in a clinical trial with daily shots and a pump that delivers medicine. There was a time when we were scared because of a wound, and we immediately knew we could reach out to Jen. She helped to calm us and reassured us that it would be fine to go to Urgent Care the next day. We followed her advice, and she had us send pictures to stay updated. Jen fit us into the schedule so we could learn how to care for his wound while she arranged an appointment at the wound center for us. When the wound center recommended a procedure, we followed up with Jen. She collaborated with them, and we left with a plan to manage the wound through education and regular check-ups with her. This is just one example of the many times that Jen has gone above and beyond to help her patients. She is truly a positive role model for the nursing field, as our daughter, also a nurse, has learned a great deal by watching Jen with my husband. Parkinson’s has its own list of challenges, and thanks to her, we have always felt supported and heard.
