Roselyn "Rose" Sebastian has worked at Sinai Hospital for 23 years and has been the Nurse Manager of the Orthopedics Units since 2022. During the past 6 months, Roselyn was nominated by 11 staff members from one of her units, 3N. Staff include nurses, techs, and administrative staff. They described her as being motivating, strategic, compassionate, and supportive. She has inspired many by "treating her staff like family" and "going above and beyond to help staff". She was also recognized for the compassionate care that she provides to the patients on her unit and the bedside assistance that she provides to them because she will always "help a patient when needed". She was celebrated by leadership and her staff for being the recipient of the DAISY Nurse Leader Award. Rose cares and leads bravely.
