I am nominating Juli for a DAISY Award because she provided unparalleled compassion, empathy, and support during an incredibly challenging time in my life. At a routine pregnancy checkup, I received the devastating news that my baby had passed. In that moment, Juli was there in ways I could have never expected. She went beyond the responsibilities of her role, not only providing exceptional medical care but also offering emotional support and reassurance that felt personal, heartfelt, and deeply genuine. Juli took the time to explain every option available to me, ensuring I understood my choices without ever feeling pressured. She answered my questions thoughtfully and compassionately, giving me the space to process my emotions and feel fully heard. Even outside of her regular hours, she continued to check in on me, offer guidance, and provide comfort, showing that her commitment to her patients doesn’t end when she leaves the clinic. What makes Juli truly extraordinary is her ability to balance professionalism with genuine human connection. She embodies the very best of what patient care should be, and her actions during this time gave me strength and comfort when I needed it most. When delivering both of my two sons, Juli proved to be a thoughtful, thorough, and exceptional provider. She helped ease my worries during induction, provided laughter when appropriate, and helped me survive my second delivery. She answered countless questions and strived to make herself available to me and my family at every call. She is a gifted individual and deserves to be recognized.
