My daughter was at Avera for an MRI with contrast for headaches. My daughter had a seizure while Mackenzie Lewis was putting in an IV at the clinic. She had never had one before, but Mack knew exactly what to do and how to make her safe. She was so calm and composed. Mack had so much knowledge, and she helped my daughter so much while she was coming out of the seizure. My daughter was evaluated in the ED and admitted to the pediatric floor. Guess who we were so happy to see again, Mack! She was there for my daughter’s admission and checked with us throughout the day. Mack has so much knowledge, compassion, and an amazing bedside manner. We were so blessed to have her with us on one of the hardest days during the scariest situation. We are thankful she was our nurse.
