Keith answered all the questions and concerns I had, which helped put my mind at ease when we arrived back home.
Keith Putnam works in the Emergency Department at Henry County Health Center. As an Emergency Department Nurse, Keith was recognized by the family of a pediatric patient for the compassionate, knowledgeable, and attentive care he provided to their son. The nomination highlighted the family’s experience in the Emergency Department and the exceptional care Keith delivered. Upon arrival at the hospital in the ambulance, Keith was the first to enter the room and the last to leave, keeping the family fully informed throughout. He was described as extremely quick to respond, very attentive, and he answered questions while providing suggestions for the follow-up visit with the patient’s primary care provider.
The nomination stated, “Seeing your child go through that was so traumatic, but having a nurse willing to go above and beyond made the experience a little easier on not only our son but us as parents. Keith answered all the questions and concerns I had, which helped put my mind at ease when we arrived back home. While I would like to point out that the care received from everyone was great, Keith went the extra mile throughout the visit. The knowledge and exceptional care he provided, paired with the compassion he showed, was well above the bar, and we appreciated this beyond measure! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything you did for our sweet boy!
