We recently had a patient who needed to get to the hospital from our clinic to receive additional medical care. The mom did not have a car, and we were unable to utilize a Lyft or Uber at that time. Amanda and Riley walked with the patient and Mom to Inova Fairfax Children’s Hospital from our clinic, which is about a 20-minute walk. They walked the patient up to the pediatric unit and made sure he was safe in his room. It was truly above and beyond care to witness, and we are lucky to have Amanda and Riley at our Pediatric Multi-speciality Clinic. Amanda and Riley showed how much they care about our patient and his Mom today. Many of our patients do not have the resources available to them as others. Amanda and Riley made sure our patient and Mom felt safe and taken care of by walking with them to the hospital to be admitted.
