My husband and I are new parents & we took a 6-week-long birthing class offered by the hospital. Breanna teaches the class and is a wealth of knowledge and kindness. She brought in various staff to provide new parents with information and resources, answered all our questions with professionalism, knowledge & kindness, and always had packets of information ready for us along with plenty of visuals to help in our understanding of everything from swaddling to inducing labor. Breanna is also a lactation specialist and provides postpartum care to new parents who have questions about feeding their baby. She visited us the day after the baby was born & has seen us twice since. Breanna is a constant reassuring presence and goes above and beyond with how responsive she is to this overly anxious new mom. Since we don’t have a 24/7 nurses’ line up here, Breanna even provided her number and has answered my panicked texts on several occasions. Both my husband and I have been blown away by the services Breanna has fought to provide at no cost to the patient through the hospital. Her knowledge & overall genuine joy for new parents have made her a huge asset. I cannot recommend her enough for this award as she is a phenomenal nurse.
