Mrs. Scaglione is an exceptional nursing instructor who goes above and beyond to ensure her students receive the best possible learning experience in the clinical setting. She takes the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of patient care, from wound care to medication administration, always making sure we understand not just the “how” but the “why” behind our actions. She is deeply committed to her students’ success, constantly finding ways to enhance our learning.

Whether it’s staying late to answer questions, demonstrating procedures multiple times, or providing individualized guidance, she ensures that each student feels supported and confident in their skills. Her dedication extends beyond teaching, and she truly cares about both her students and her patients. She creates a positive and compassionate environment in the hospital, and her patients appreciate the care she provides. Her passion for nursing is evident, and she sets an incredible example of what it means to be a great nurse. I was fortunate to have Mrs. Scaglione as my instructor in Foundations, where she continuously reassured and encouraged us. During medication administration, she not only teaches the safest and most effective methods but also emphasizes organization and patient communication, ensuring we are well-prepared for real-world practice.
