When I learned that the earliest appointment was three months away in May, Tasha was on the phone within minutes, working diligently to get us an appointment at Nationwide Children’s Hospital nearly 2 months sooner.
In November, my daughter suffered a severe back injury that left her in constant pain and forced her to miss out on activities she loved, like dance and basketball. Despite numerous attempts at treatment—including visits to the ER, massage therapy, chiropractic care, physical therapy through the chiropractor’s office, Lidoderm patches, steroids, and dry needling—nothing seemed to bring relief. It wasn’t until we met with our most recent Doctor that Tasha truly became a beacon of hope for my daughter.
Tasha worked tirelessly to find new options for my daughter’s recovery. When my daughter's MRI in Columbus showed no clear issues and the prescribed Meloxicam failed to alleviate the pain, Tasha was there every step of the way. She took my calls with a compassionate ear, worked closely with our Doctor, and remained dedicated to finding a solution.
Tasha helped us navigate insurance and got us quickly into physical therapy through the hospital, ensuring we were covered after months of paying out-of-pocket for chiropractic PT. When my daughter’s progress stalled after 14 sessions and she grew increasingly frustrated and sad, I turned to Tasha again.
By now, it was February, and Tasha was once again an incredible source of comfort as I cried through my update on my daughter’s condition. She reassured me that she and our Doctor would continue to work together to find a solution. They decided on Cincinnati Children’s Pain Management, and Tasha immediately sent the necessary paperwork.

As we started the process at Nationwide Children’s, another concern arose—My daughter started losing hair. Again, I reached out to Tasha, and she quickly coordinated with our Doctor. Tasha followed up that day, explaining that our Doctor wanted to investigate a few things before prescribing further treatment.
True to her word, Tasha kept me informed that our Doctor scheduled lab work and she was going to schedule a follow-up appointment for my daughter to address the new issue. Thanks to Tasha’s unwavering support, we are finally seeing a light at the end of a long tunnel. My daughter has been treated by a team at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and after beginning her treatment, she is now pain-free and is starting to return to the activities she loves!
Throughout this entire process, Tasha has been a true advocate for my daughter and for me as a mother, feeling helpless in the face of my daughter’s suffering. She was always there, offering compassion, listening to my concerns, and tirelessly working to find solutions when it felt like there were no answers.
It’s clear to me that Tasha is deeply passionate about her work, and it’s evident in the care and dedication she gives to her patients. We are incredibly grateful for everything Tasha has done, and I wholeheartedly want to recognize her exceptional dedication, compassion, and for truly going above and beyond.
