Sarah is a pillar here at TMC. She is very active across the board on many committees and processes and a leader on the unit by being a relief charge, a preceptor, and our UBC chairperson just to name a few. 

Last week, Sarah was heading to the gift shop to purchase a jacket. On the way, she witnessed a visitor fall. Sarah immediately went to her aid and upon assessment found that she had some medical conditions that warranted further follow-up after this fall. The visitor's son soon arrived and wanted to take our soon to be patient home but Sarah advocated encouraged them to visit the ER. 

The actions by Sarah on this day speak to her character on a daily basis. She is always willing to step in and help in any situation and advocate for what is best! She deserves recognition not just for this action, but for what she brings to the unit and facility at all times! Additionally, Sarah made an effort to go check on this patient after the fall and ensure that she was okay. Her heart is truly in nursing.
