That person is Nurse Angelica Saintignon. Angelica is not just a nurse; she is the heartbeat of our team on 5NE. Her dedication and hard work are unparalleled. She always ensures that her team has the support they need to provide the best care possible to our patients. Her problem-solving skills are nothing short of extraordinary. No challenge is too great for her, and she tackles each one with a calm and composed demeanor.

What truly sets Angelica apart is her kindness. She helps her teammates without hesitation, always ready to lend a hand or offer a word of encouragement. Her compassion extends beyond her colleagues to the patients she cares for. She is an incredible patient advocate, always fighting for their best interests and ensuring they receive the care and respect they deserve.

One story that perfectly illustrates her remarkable character involves delivering care to a patient on 5NE who was deaf. There were many challenges surrounding this patient, involving many caregivers trying to work diligently to meet this patient’s very specific expectations and requests. However, when Angelica got involved, it was like all the complications surrounding this case magically dissipated. She listened with the intent to understand, not just respond. By the end of this patient’s visit, he said to me, “I would like you to recognize Angelica. She was the only one who saw me for me, not just my condition. She listened, she was kind, and she made me feel human.” Moments like these highlight the profound impact she has on the lives of those she touches.
