Most importantly, Alina made my dad feel like more than just a patient. She treated him with dignity and respect, always showing genuine kindness.
I am honored to nominate Alina for the DAISY Award in recognition of the exceptional care she provided to my father during his time in the CTICU after his CABG X4 surgery. From the moment she began caring for him, Alina displayed not only her outstanding clinical expertise but also a deep compassion that helped make a difficult and stressful time much easier. She was compassionate yet highly motivating. Her attention to detail in monitoring his condition, managing his pain, and providing emotional support went above and beyond what we could have expected. She kept us informed throughout, always answering our questions with kindness and patience, making sure we felt involved in his care. Most importantly, Alina made my dad feel like more than just a patient. She treated him with dignity and respect, always showing genuine kindness. Her positive attitude and calming presence helped both my dad and our family feel secure and supported during a very challenging time. We never felt like a bother with any question we asked. She listened to us and understood everything we asked. My father is not an easy man to please, and he kept asking for her because she was that good. Alina truly exemplifies the qualities of a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated nurse. Her care made a lasting impacted on us, and we are deeply grateful for everything she did to help my father recover. Thank you for considering her for this well-deserved recognition.
