I am honored to nominate Courtney Procell for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award in recognition of her profound compassion towards patients and their family members. She consistently demonstrates an exceptional level of empathy and support during some of the most challenging moments for her patients and their loved ones. She is an exceptional nurse, and her genuine concern makes a lasting impact on everyone she encounters. As one family member stated, 'Thank you isn't enough. I wish I could take some of the stress, worry, pain and heartbreak from you. I wish that I could mail you a large care package of extra energy, strength, love and compassion that is needed every day.
