I kept watching, and I truly felt as if I were being supported by my own son, someone running around, getting help, and standing beside us during a very difficult time.
In the early hours of the morning, I rushed in with my critically ill daughter, overwhelmed with fear and anxiety. As soon as we arrived, a nurse immediately took us to the treatment room and started the process to ensure she received the medical attention she needed without delay. In the middle of everything, I couldn’t help but notice one nurse in particular—moving quickly and tirelessly from one place to another, making sure every necessary step was taken.

Even though my daughter was not under this nurse’s assignment, every effort was made to facilitate her care. I kept watching, and I truly felt as if I were being supported by my own son, someone running around, getting help, and standing beside us during a very difficult time. Those actions brought me comfort. It wasn’t just about fulfilling a duty; it was about going beyond it.

The reassurance given without many words, the presence, the kindness, and the attentiveness—all of it left a mark on my heart. My daughter received the best care, and I felt supported when I needed it the most. These actions reflect the true meaning of people-centered care.
