Jessica was leaving her lunch break and began driving when she noticed a man lying on the sidewalk next to the building. She stopped and rolled her window down to ask the man if he needed help and if he was okay. The man did not respond, so she shouted again, and again no response. Jessica then parked her car and walked over to the man, quickly recognizing he was unresponsive and needed help. She alerted security and then called 911. She remained with the man until EMS arrived.

Jessica did all of this on her lunch break, then returned to work in her role as an LPN in the pediatric clinic. She did not ask for a longer break, but instead just went right back to taking care of her patients. Her actions today speak volumes about her character and genuine compassion for others. Some people may not have even noticed this man or stopped to see if help was needed.
