Elizabeth "Libby" lives our mission, vision, and values with the care she provides her patients. She recognized that a patient had obtained a pressure ulcer on her foot because the only pair of shoes that she had did not fit her, and she was stuffing tissue paper inside the shoes to try to make them fit her better. The patient did not have the means necessary to purchase another pair of shoes. Libby went out after work and purchased more than one pair of shoes, plus clothing items for the patient, and brought them back to the patient the next time she worked. Libby shows compassion and grace to her patients, and this was just one example of how she goes above and beyond. Thank you, Libby, for making a big difference in your patient's life with such a kind and thoughtful act. Libby improves lives in small ways as well as in big ways.
