Limitations and challenges, bureaucratic and operational, at times, can be unavoidable, yet her incredible devotion and love for her patients, coupled with her unrelenting and unwavering passion for her craft, are definitively inspirational, uplifting, and absolutely remarkable.
There is not enough space to adequately describe Sharon's deservedness of this recognition, and there is seldom a nurse whose daily routines are defined by so constantly going above and beyond as effectively as Sharon. Sharon is a comprehensively passionate, technically savvy, and emotionally connected Interventional Radiology nurse. It is because of Sharon's devout dedication and leadership, coupled closely with her immensely keen attention to detail, that a challenged Interventional Radiology department has not only remained afloat, but is well on course and really poised and positioned to thrive in the very near future. This is largely, if not nearly entirely, due to the sheer dedication, passion, and will of Sharon.
Sharon is passionate not only about the field in which she has garnered tremendous expertise and developed as an effective educator, but also about the patients who are lucky enough to be served under her care, and about the community, the providers, and everyone and everything else that revolves around Interventional Radiology.
Sharon is deeply emotionally connected to her position, taking personally both the challenges and the successes of the department. Sharon takes her role to heart, as providing exemplary care is intrinsic and innate to Sharon's identity, which, both good and bad, can come with a heavy toll. Sharon takes her role personally, in an admirable and enthusiastic way; if the service is thriving, you can see it on Sharon's face; if the service is struggling, you can see that, too.
