Katrina Ventura responded to an emergency request to OR. She was awesome. I can't say enough. I know she is a great ICU nurse from working with her during COVID in the ICU, but I am very impressed with her response, her initiative/decisiveness in the treatment plan during an active OR operation. Great communication back and forth with anesthesia. I feel like she ran the treatment for this patient. She was greatly appreciated. In the OR, you don't get emergencies like that very often, and to have someone you felt comfortable making decisions and someone to make good, informed/educated decisions for treatment. There are no words to describe how grateful we were. Thanks again.
