Emily is well-liked by both her co-workers and patients. She has a strong leadership influence in surgical services. She works to make sure the schedule and patients are prepared for surgery. She communicates on potential areas that need to be addressed to make sure there are no issues on the day of surgery. She works with cardiac testing, covering testing when there is no nursing coverage. She is always willing to assist with this coverage, floating between surgical patients and coming in on her days off. She also works closely with interventional radiology in providing support and care for their patients. She is a team player regardless of the area she is working in. She is on top of knowing what to look for and how to safely care for our patients.
