I came to the emergency room on a Monday after a fall that left me, at 92, with a severe knee wound down to the bone. The initial wound care was extremely painful, so when I learned wound care would return for debridement the next day, I was anxious and afraid. When Tina arrived, her calm and caring demeanor immediately eased my fears. She treated my wounds with gentleness and compassion. She was patient, informative and kind. Even though it wasn’t expected, Tina returned the next day, knowing I was anxious to go home. When I was denied care at the wound healing center, she went above and beyond to secure the referral to be accepted.

Tina’s thoughtful care and extra effort helped me heal and leave the hospital sooner. My family and I are so grateful. What could have been a difficult experience turned into a positive one because of Tina. She is truly exceptional.
