Lisa is an incredibly attentive, organized, and efficient RN. She checked in on me frequently and ALWAYS asked if I needed/wanted anything before leaving my room. She responded promptly when my BP began to drop just as we were preparing to discharge. Several fluid boluses were given without an appropriate response, and increased my BP. I was eventually transferred to the SRMC ER and admitted to the ICU. Great catch, had I gone home, I would not have known. By catching it quickly, she prevented my prolonged illness, admission, or worse. The most amazing thing is not her nursing care, but her heart of gold. She didn't hesitate to make me a sandwich from her own lunch. (There were no food options available and open at the time) I was starving! I can tell you that was the best sandwich I have ever had!!! Not only is she a fantastic RN, but she can add star sandwich maker to her list of qualifications! Thank you for catching my septic shock early and making sure I did not go hungry. I wish there were more RNs like you! Thank you!
