I am honored to nominate Rebecca Taylor-Ford for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award. Rebecca is the most kind, supportive, and influential leader I have ever had the privilege of working with. She consistently prioritizes the needs of her colleagues before her own, always ready to lend a helping hand. I know that whenever I need support, I can count on Rebecca to be there.

Rebecca truly cares for her team and goes above and beyond to ensure that those around her feel recognized and supported for their hard work. She embodies the essence of a transformational leader, inspiring all to strive for excellence. She is the leader people want to follow. In difficult times, she does not hesitate to step into the trenches alongside her team to make things better.

A defining example of her selflessness and dedication occurred during the Tubbs Fire of 2017. After evacuating her own home, Rebecca immediately came to the hospital and took swift action, personally driving one of our patients to safety in her own car. This act of courage and compassion speaks volumes about her character and unwavering commitment to those she serves.

Throughout my career at KP SRO, Rebecca has been an incredible mentor, teaching by example what it truly means to lead. She continuously encourages me and my peers to advance professionally through education and certification, a value she models in her own practice. Her guidance and support have been instrumental in my growth, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to work with her.

For her leadership, dedication, and compassionate heart, I strongly believe Rebecca Taylor-Ford is more than deserving of the DAISY Nurse Leader Award.
