I can’t say enough good things about Stephanie, my father’s hospice nurse. She truly cared about my dad, me, and my sisters. She always greeted him with a smile and cared for him with love.

One time, my dad’s erratic behavior (due to his disease) was really causing problems at SCV, and there was talk of hospitalizing him, but Stephanie created an alternate plan, approved by the doctor and SCV, which kept him out of the hospital. My dad did not tolerate hospital stays well, so I am so appreciative that Stephanie went the extra mile to come up with a better solution. It would have been easier for her to just say ‘oh, take him’, but she worked hard to find a plan to satisfy everyone.

Again, I can’t adequately convey my gratitude and appreciation for Stephanie. I knew she had my dad’s care as a high priority in her life.
