The first time she came into the room, she introduced herself to all of us family members. Every time she started to do anything to my mother (patient), she was so gentle and easy. As if it was her own mother/grandmother, she was also very concerned that all the family was comfortable and as she left the room she would ask everyone ever time if we need anything just let her know, the patient is my mother and I had just had a total knee replacement she heard me talking that I wish I had a gel/ice pack, because it was hurting n swelling. She was back in the room in a minute and got me one out of the freezer. I could write a book, but she was just so good to my momma. Melanie has been an angel to my Nana and my whole family. She has taken the best care of my Nana. She checks on her very often and also checks on us, the family. She is very gentle, kind, caring, and compassionate about what she does. I feel like she really cares about my Nana just like I care about her. This is a very difficult time for our family, and I will never forget Melanie and the kindness that she has shown my whole family. She is a very caring and compassionate person. She truly has taken great care of our grandmother. She has continuously checked on our family and made sure everyone is comfortable and has everything they need. I could literally write a book about how precious Melanie is. She has treated my nana with the most care, like she was her own family. My whole family has just fallen in love with her. She has made us feel so much more at ease during this difficult time. Just her caring, kind ways. She definitely deserves to be recognized.
