My leader, Cintya, is the most empathetic and kind-hearted person in the world. She always looks out for her team, is always aware of our needs, and supports us whenever possible.
I'm going to tell you a little bit about why I nominated my leader, Cintya Palafox. I used to work at Hospital San José, but I joined Zambrano in August 2023, and I've seen a very different side of TecSalud here. From the moment I arrived, my leader Cintya welcomed me with open arms. I was initially intimidated by her, because I wasn't used to having a leader like her. You might wonder what she's like, so let me tell you. My leader, Cintya, is the most empathetic and kind-hearted person in the world. She always looks out for her team, is always aware of our needs, and supports us whenever possible. We try to reciprocate her kindness, and she tries to connect with us, asking how we're doing. We've had intense months in the emergency department where we've been overwhelmed, but she's always there to lend a hand.

A true leader isn't just about having a title; it's about being committed to their team and stepping in to help when needed. Cintya doesn't need awards to recognize her excellence because, in my opinion, she's the best leader, and we're all proud of what she does. I want to acknowledge her exceptional leadership, friendship, and compassion. She's like a mom to our department, always caring for us and being understanding in different situations.

I believe we should recognize her outstanding work, not just as the leader of the emergency department but also for her ability to manage multiple departments effectively. Her team is proud to work with her, and she has earned the respect and admiration of many doctors. Her work ethic is extraordinary, and it is shown in her dedication and the response of her team.

Cintya, I want to thank you for everything you've done for me over the past two years. You've always been concerned about my health, and what you've done is truly remarkable. My family and I are infinitely grateful for your kindness and support. Thank you for being an exceptional leader and for giving all of you to our department. I'm grateful for your support, especially when I received news about my brain injury. You put me in the care of the best doctor and thanks to your support, I'm back at work today, feeling safe and grateful.

Thank you again, Cintya, for being an amazing leader and person. I'm honored to work with you.
