Lynn McIntosh is incredible at her job, and we are so lucky to have her.  I'm sure administration sees it but as someone who works with her day in and day out, it is even more apparent to me.  She has always been on top of things, but it became even more noticeable with the addition of the new orthopedic group starting here and lining everything up with new equipment, reps, etc.  On top of that she fills in at practically every job when short and always carries a great attitude when doing it.  She juggles so many responsibilities and never once drops the ball; she is always up to date and has everything lined up perfectly.  Lynn is an incredible communicator and runs a tight ship with the staff; yet fosters a pleasant, enjoyable and productive atmosphere. Our surgical team is incredible and in large part, it starts with Lynn.

I wanted to acknowledge Lynn for going above and beyond in the last two months and stepping in and taking call when we were down staff.  With all of the holidays chaos and extra long days it was greatly appreciated and allowed everyone to have a little holiday time despite the needs of the department.  Lynn does a great job hands-on when needed in general, but then taking on call responsibility is, as I said above, and beyond.  It is wonderful knowing you have a lead who supports the team and is willing to do what it takes to keep the department going.
