Recently, I had double jaw surgery. My recovery was awful. I was vomiting up blood and was very confused. Maggie stayed by my side and constantly comforted me. I vomited up blood several times with my jaw wired shut and she suctioned me and comforted me. She constantly tried to get the doctors to try new medication when mine didn’t work. She talked to me, redid my hair, wiped the blood off my face, and made sure my lips weren’t chapped. I don’t know what I would have done without her. I stayed in recovery for over 4 hours, and the only peace of mind I had was when Maggie told me she would be there with me because she got off work at 9. She also kept my family updated often. Maggie was a real-life angel.
