Sierra consistently elevates the quality of care, not only within her own unit but also across every unit she interacts with. She is a true advocate for every patient who walks through the doors of our hospital. Recently, we had a patient who lost his phone and was unable to contact his loved ones.

Rather than discharging him without a way to reach out, Sierra went above and beyond—using her lunch break to go to Walmart and purchase a new phone for him. This is just one of countless examples of Sierra going to extraordinary lengths to meet the needs of her patients. Our facility is better because she is part of it, and I am a better nurse for having the privilege of working alongside her.
