I pray that Joni never forgets the difference she makes in a patient’s life. She is selfless when contributing to her patient’s needs. I am confident that she lives her life as such.

Nurses are incredible, but Joni is in a class all by herself. Joni was a distraction to my pain and worry. 

Nobody likes the thought of going to the ICU, but Joni made it come alive to me that she saw ME! She felt like a little sister looking out for her big sister. Yesterday was the first time I ever met her. I feel like I’ve known her my whole life. She came, she saw, she conquered – my fears, pain and worry – with compassion, service, integrity, stewardship and with human dignity.

You say describe a situation involving the nurse I am nominating that clearly demonstrates she meets the criteria for the DAISY award. Well, I submit you don’t have enough paper for me to pick out just one quality!
