Jenn was very attentive to her patient recently. The patient was crying out in pain, screaming that something was wrong. Jenn listened to her patient's concerns. During this time, it was very hard to find a pulse in the patient’s foot that she had just had major surgery on. Jenn asked for my assistance during this time. I was not able to find the pulse either. Jenn advocated for her patient, called the resident, who came to the room right away and ordered a stat CT. Within the hour, the patient was in emergency surgery. Jenn is a new nurse who is not afraid to ask for help or ask questions. Keep doing great, Jenny RN.
