I will never forget Anzhelika. Or, any of the other care team on duty while I was a patient from November to December. Anzhelika knew I needed a procedure as soon as possible. But I was admitted for infection, and I was post-chemo. My blood work was poor and wouldn't allow for the procedure. I was getting IV antibiotics, blood transfusions, and platelets, trying to improve numbers. A blood draw Friday night would tell us if my counts were improved enough to allow for the procedure Saturday morning.

Anzhelika did the blood draw later Friday evening, and we waited for the results. She realized in the pre-dawn that it would be prudent to draw another sample and send it to the lab. She was as invested in my getting this procedure as I was. She was as happy as I that the counts had improved enough to allow for my procedure Saturday morning. Her dedication and devotion to her patients are admirable. She knew the medical goal for me and was one step ahead at every turn. I knew I was in excellent hands with Anzhelika and the entire medical team. When you know you are being cared for in the best way possible, it goes a long way to ease your mind and hasten your recovery. That said, all of the care team members during my stay at AGMC were first-rate! They were all angels on earth. Thank you for your consideration.
