Roxie has been a nurse at Audubon County Memorial Hospital since March 2015. Roxie currently works in the Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department. She has been in nursing since 1980, as both an LPN and RN. Prior to starting at ACMH, Roxie worked in various nursing roles, including Medical-Surgical, ER, Peds, Surgery, and as a school nurse.

“I have only been her manager for a short time, but have also quickly developed an appreciation of Roxie’s contagious warmth, quick humor, and fun-loving personality.”
The Chief Nursing Officer stated, “As I watch Roxie go about her day, you can see that she enjoys delivering patient care. She can make her patient light up with a smile when she talks to them, and they know that she will try to meet their needs and give them quality care. Roxie exemplifies what a nurse is: kind, always compassionate, smart, and calm under pressure."
