Upon being greeted by Caitlin, my wife and I felt an immediate sense of comfort. We would later come to find that this feeling was by no means a coincidence. I was there for a mild stroke, and the level of care and concern demonstrated by her toward my health was truly outstanding. As mentioned earlier, her ability to make others feel at ease and her sincere compassion are commendable. In my shared room, there was a gentleman in bed 2 who was suffering from throat cancer. Caitlin would care for him, and soon his moans and his outcries would stop. She would gently speak with him, inquiring how she could make him feel more comfortable. I can only surmise that her speaking soothingly to him kept him calm and gave him a quiet resolve, knowing that someone was near who cared and was showing him kindness.

Caitlin's speech was never aggressive or harsh in any way. Her friendly demeanor made my stay in Hoag-2 so pleasant and hospitable. She went out of her way to accommodate us. The entire ward moved harmoniously together while caring for the patients. We were deeply impressed with the pleasant level of solitude engendered there. Caitlin is truly a wonderful person, a dedicated and professional RN, and she is really a compassionate and beautiful soul. Her ability to convey peacefulness through action, while caring for medically challenged individuals, deserves recognition. Caitlin is a truly skilled professional in the field of nursing. Caitlin's real jewel is her earnest and genuine personality! She has that special "it" as a person! My wife and I agree that we are grateful she works there, and we feel management should be too.
