Michelle joined 3 East last year after a career change from the women's department. She has been a mentor to staff and students and supported them through all levels of their schooling as well as once they graduate and join us on the units. Michelle has continued to grow in her own career and will be taking on a full time CSN position after her semester is completed in teaching. We are excited for this transition as Michelle is very professional and advocates for her peers and the patients in which she is caring for. Always looking for opportunities to advance and learn more.

Michelle advocates for her students and they all look up to her as a mentor. Michelle is very patient with them and seeks to assist any anyway she can to lead them in the right direction, if she doesn't know the answer, she reaches out to others until she can give a direct answer to questions asked. Staff are always looking to Michelle for answers and she advocates for not only her own assignment, but the entire team.
