Exceptional nursing care was provided during my son's 4-day stay on 7D in the Pediatrics ward by Rhea. She provided all the good care that every nurse would give, however, Rhea went extremely beyond to provide extra care which I have not seen provided, without asking. She would change diapers for the kiddo, make him take bath/sponge on his bed so the kiddo feels fresh, she would stay with him patiently whenever he had to go for blood work or any other tests. Rhea was very different in that not only do it all herself, but she also made sure the caregiver got needed rest and breaks. She definitely sets an example and, most importantly, raises the bar for the kind of care one can receive in a time of need when the kiddos are in pain and going through lots of other things. Her care plays a significant role in mitigating the restlessness and discomfort that children and caregivers experience during these times. I highly recommend Rhea Deshpande's name for recognition, so the example is set, and the other nurses take inspiration and motivation from Rhea. I feel like writing more and more praise for her, and that explains how the patient and the caregiver experienced those difficult days at 7D in Pediatrics. Thank you so very much Rhea. You had really been so so great in all that you did for him.
