This was the most terrifying and traumatic time of my family’s lives as my 18-year-old daughter was brought to the ER fighting for her life. As this long nightmare began, the Med/Surg Leadership Team gathered to the ER to support not only myself but my family.

The love and support did not stop at the ER or even the Chambersburg Hospital. The M/S Leaders drove to York to visit and offer support. My family and I received gifts, cards, donations, and prayers.

We have been deeply moved and overwhelmed with gratitude for the team's thoughtfulness and kindness.

The Med/Surg Leadership team is a true example of a work family. They support each other during the workdays and stand by your side during the personal hard times.

A nomination and a thank you do not feel like enough. I will be forever grateful for the Med/Surg Leadership team I am blessed to work alongside. The love, support, and guidance through the years will never be forgotten.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to all those who stood by my family during this event, as there were many. If I could nominate the entire hospital, I would. Thank you, everyone, for everything.
