She deserves to be acknowledged, praised, and awarded for her hard work and empathetic and compassionate demeanor with her patients.
Tara was an AMAZING nurse. She took the time to walk us through every single step that needed to be done. She clearly explained everything she was doing, she was quick to offer and supply any accommodations we requested, she kept us informed of the procedure and the recovery, and she took a LOT of verbal abuse from my mom, who was having her full hip replaced. I took the time to speak to Tara while we were alone in the room at one point and told her how much I appreciated the way she was being so kind and helpful and gentle with my mom (who was clearly stressed and frustrated and uncomfortable and just overall unhappy) and that I could tell she really truly cared for the patient and not just the paycheck. Tara almost started crying herself. My mom apologized to Tara on our way out that day, but her lasting impact on my day and my mom's overall experience truly warranted some serious recognition. I understand that it is the field of expertise she chose, but it is oftentimes a thankless job being a frontline hero. So, she deserves to be acknowledged, praised, and awarded for her hard work and empathetic and compassionate demeanor with her patients. GO TARA!!! If I could put heart emojis in this email, she would get a ton of hearts and happy faces.
